At the heart of the SPEC Chassis is a precision-engineered IFS system that replaces the factory strut-based suspension. Optimized camber gain allows the wheels and tires to tuck neatly into the fenders under compression, opening up aggressive fitment options while improving cornering performance. Lightweight tubular control arms, eccentric lower adjusters, and our proprietary RS forged knuckle system deliver precise geometry, excellent ball joint separation, and smooth, predictable movement through the full range of travel. A heavy-duty splined sway bar with forged arms further stabilizes the chassis, giving you control that stock components can’t touch.

In the rear, the factory torque arm is eliminated in favor of a parallel 4-link with watts link, providing unmatched lateral control and an optimized roll center. This design not only enhances stability and traction, it also opens the door for running serious rubber—up to 355-width rear tires with mini tubs—something the stock suspension simply won’t allow. A splined sway bar system keeps the wider footprint planted, ensuring confidence whether you’re on the street or the track.

Beyond suspension, the SPEC Chassis is a full frame solution that bolts directly under the unibody. The system lowers ride height and still matches factory ground clearance while dramatically increasing rigidity compared to pieced-together aftermarket solutions. Engineering attention was given to every detail, from bounding box room for steering linkage, headers, and common oil pans to exhaust routing with clearance for a true dual exhaust that can be tucked cleanly under the car.

Ease of installation was central to the design. The SPEC Chassis uses supplied 3D-printed jigs and templates for body mods that are straightforward, non-structural, and do not impact the interior or trunk space. Shock towers can even be deleted, creating a clean engine bay with room for superchargers, turbos, or other power adders. A universal adjustable transmission mount works across a wide range of manual and automatic options, ensuring compatibility without costly adapters.

Fuel and exhaust needs are handled with an RS-specific 16-gallon tank—larger than stock and designed to clear twin mufflers at the rear. Combined with the integrated exhaust paths, this system supports today’s high-output builds without compromise.
