We are hiring! Roadster Shop is looking for an individual to perform setup and operations of Haas CNC Lathe and Mills. Applicants must be willing to learn in a fast-paced environment. Perform shop duties such as prep material for machines, clean and deburr parts, maintain coolant levels in machines, empty chip tray and barrels on machines and perform in process inspections.

Requirements:
· 1-2years CNC Machining experience with Lathe and Mills
· Set up and operate lathes, and milling machines
· Read and understand blueprints, verbal communication skills to produce high quality and close tolerance parts
· Perform In-process Inspection on production jobs, Clean and De-burr parts
· Proficient in the following instrument usage: Micrometer, Caliper, Bore Gauge, Drop Indicator
· Perform daily maintenance: Fill and check coolant in machines, empty chip barrels, clean work area, prep material for machines
· Maintain a clean work environment wipe down machines, sweep & mop floors
· Good math skills
· Have good computer skills
· Be willing to pursue additional training if required to do so
· Detail oriented committed to doing quality work
· Looking for a career
· Dependable with a good work ethic
· Follows all company safety rules and policies.

Goal: Over a 2-to-3-year period candidate gains extensive knowledge in precision machining, precision measuring and project/time management to a point they can program and run their own jobs.

Education and Exp: High school diploma or (GED). One to Two years machine experience and/or of shop vocational

Physical Demands: There are moderate physical demand working frequently with medium weight material (20-50lbs) or occasionally with heavy weight material. Maximum weight to be hand carried does not exceed 75 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time (M-F) - Mundelein, IL
Pay is commensurate with experience level and skillset

Our 'Standard' SPEC chassis offers a more 'factory' style ride height and allows for the full chassis upgrade benefits on a SPEC C10 without the need to cut your cab or raise the bedflooor as you would with the more aggressive ride height on the 'Slammed' option.

Fully assembling the chassis before shipping ensures two things: 1. allows us to make sure the chassis has every single one of the parts and any optional components that go into the chassis assembly before it ships and 2. It gives the customer a full assembly, ready to use for mockup on their build, and offers a great 'before' view so they are familiar with how the chassis is assembled prior to breaking down for final powdercoat or paint. (we ship each one with detailed final assembly instructions too, just incase!)
